Delving In

I searched the internet every night after work and waded through tons of BDSM sites, finally finding some sites for Domestic Discipline - something I had never heard of before in my life. I also found some yahoo groups about adult discipline and joined all of them I could find. Finally, after several months, I mustered enough courage to email one of the Domestic Discipline sites and ask the owner how I should begin my search. Not thinking I would receive an answer to my email, I was quite surprised when I received a prompt reply. His advice was to think of a different name, screenname, and email address than my real life one and start my search with that in mind. He advised that not everyone you meet online is who or what they say they are and gave some very good advise on safety and meeting new people, etc.... I would have never thought of these things, and had indeed, emailed him with my real email address. I implemented all of his suggestions. This was the beginning of my search.
