Meeting a New Friend

About a month after I began speaking with a spanker through emails and IM's in 2007, I began corresponding with a lady (spankee) from one of the sites I had begun to frequent. She gave me her phone number after several IM's and emails and I called. We seemed to hit it off instantly and have communicated in some way almost every day since. She was a wealth of information for me and started showing me the ropes. (I found out not too long after that conversation that she and the spanker I had been corresponding with had thought I was someone else and wanted to start a timely phone interaction with me to make sure I wasn't her, lol.) I was crushed that that first conversation wasn't because I had such a great personality, ha ha. (just kidding) Anyway, seeing as I wasn't the person they thought I was, I had the chance to prove that I might be worth the effort for some discipline to help me change my behaviors. I was (and still am, to some extent) so out of control with some specific behaviors - but improving with help that is available, as it comes available. But having a friend who already knew lots about spanking, and with her being a women, I could ask her questions I was too embarrassed to ask my male spanking friend. Eventually I met her and stayed in her home. She has also come to mine. We visit each other when we can now. She was and is a good friend, the best. Since meeting my first spanko friend, I have gone on to meet some more spanko friends, whom I will write about another time. Spankos are a unique breed of people from all walks of life. It has been nice to find that I wasn't as weird as I thought.
